Hey,

I wanted to play Half Life 2 Episode 1 again so I installed it via the Orange Box disc.
I went to run it and it came up with thie:
'Platform Error module Failed to Initialize'
I went into Steam settings and had a root around.

I kept trying a couple of settings till I got HL2:E1 to work.
Going on the 'In-Game' tab and unchecking 'Enable Steam Community In-game' sorted the problem!

I can now play Half Life 2 Episode 1 on Windows 7 64 bit :D

:( I have so got to get the orange box... I havnt yet started the episodes...
